An Introduction to Information Systems
In this lecture, we will determine what an information system is by exploring key information and systems concepts. We will examine technology infrastructures and the components of an information system. We will conclude by identifying a variety of systems with different applications.
Information Systems in Organizations
In this lecture, we will examine the factors an organization must consider to implement an effective information system. Some of these include: organizational structure, culture and change, quality requirements, competitive advantage, and strategic planning. We will also identify the typical titles and functions to be found in an information system.
